Sunday 3rd June - Picnic in the Park

Don't miss the family fun spectacular at this year's Leyland Festival. The event offers a wide choice of activities for all the family to enjoy, including:

Stage Entertainment

Each year the event begins with the traditional vehicle parade through Leyland ending at Worden Park - the  popular parade features businesses and local community group floats, marching bands, dance troupes and heritage vehicles.

 

This year's theme is World Books so why not come along dressed as your favourite character, prizes to be won.

Entry cost is £2.50 prior to the event or £3.00 on the day, under 16's are free.

Saturday 30th June - Sunday 1st July Blackrod Scarecrow Festival 

Once again Blackrod Village will be teeming with scarecrows waiting for you to visit. The schools will be open with lots for children to see and do.
 
Refreshments are available at many outlets and everything you need to know features in the festival programme available from selling points as you enter the village. In the programme there is a map showing all the locations and entry to a free raffle - all for just £2. Hoping you can join us!

The scarecrows will be waiting for you in Blackrod Village on Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July from 10am-7pm.
