    • Sports Day
      Please ensure that your child has their PE Kit in school for PE Lessons and we are currently practising every day for Sports Day. Sports Day will be on Friday, 16th June starting at 10am for Reception to Year 6.
    • Year 1 Phonics Screening
      Our Y1 children will be taking the Phonics Screening Test during week commencing 12th June. Please make sure that all Year 1 children are in school and on time each day.
    • Courage
      This term we will be focussing in school on the value COURAGE.
    • Passports
      Mrs Partington & Mrs Chadwick will no longer be able to complete passport forms. We have been informed by the Passport Office that to countersign a passport you need to know the applicant in a personal way, such as a friend.
    • Non-Uniform Reward
      Children in St George’s (Red Team) can wear non-uniform on Friday, 9th June as a reward for the most team points.

      This week’s ‘Pupils of the week’ winners are: Reception – Riley M, Year 1- Joshua K, Year 2- Year 2, Year 3- Mia H Year 4- Cori B, Year 5 – Emmie W, Year 6- Macy P
    • How to talk to your children about Terrorist attacks
      Following last nights tragedy in Manchester, we are aware that children may be worried and have some questions about what happened.
    • Y4/5 Handball
      We played in the handball competition at Southlands on the astro turf. We drew our first match 0-0 and lost our second 5-0. We didn’t qualify for the final but the team had all tried very hard and enjoyed the competition.
    • Parking Around School
      Whilst we understand that parking around school can be difficult, we are requesting that all parents park with consideration and drive with due care and attention.
    • Clara’s Fundraising Fun Day
      A local family are holding a Fun Day on the school field on Sunday, 4th June, 11.00am to 4.00pm.
