Hi everyone
I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Whilst today marks the end of the official 'Easter holidays' it has in fact been over 4 weeks now since school was officially open. We have all kept in touch online, via the telephone or on brief essential visits to school which has been lovely in these unprecedented times. However lots of you have now said the children are now starting to get a 'little bit fed up'.
FEAR NOT...the Summer term begins tomorrow and this weekend all the teachers attended a 'Virtual Meeting' from their homes to share and discuss the exciting work and activities they have been planning to help you as the children return to their 'learning at home'.
Every week day your child's class teacher will set 3 tasks or activities:
- an English task
- a Maths task
- An additional task ( covering a variety of subjects )
Details of these will be posted here on our Facebook page, on Seesaw and on the All Saints' website class page. https://www.allsaintscofe.lancs.sch.uk/class-pages.
Please work with your children to complete as many of these activities as you can. When you have completed them please post a picture on Facebook or upload it onto Seesaw. Your teacher will be looking at all the work and selecting 'Wow work of the day' which will be posted online and also choosing our regular 'Pupil of the Week' who will receive their certificate in the post.
If you know of any All Saints' parents who have not yet joined our Facebook Page, please invite them and remind them to answer the 3 questions so they can be approved.
Similarly make sure you download the Seesaw app (Family Seesaw NOT Class Seesaw ) if you have not already done so and use the QR code sent home in your learning packs to log on. If you require a new QR code for your child please contact school.
Any parents who cannot access this online information can contact school and we will make alternative arrangements for their work.
If you have any questions or would like any help and support please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone, app, text or email.
Finally my personal thanks go to you, the children and the staff for making sure that 'TeamAllSaints' continues to support and care for each other in these difficult times.
Take care
Sarah x

Welcome to our school!

All Saints’ CE Primary & Nursery is a Church of England Aided school. Our school is a success story; a joy to visit and a credit to all those involved with us. We are passionate about learning and aim for every child to have a happy and active education in a Christian environment, following the example set for us by Jesus. We provide a stimulating and structured environment in which all children are encouraged to reach their full potential. We treat all our pupils individually, developing their sense of worth, confidence and independence. We want our children to really love learning.

Ofsted visited All Saints’ in December 2016 and judged that our school continues to be good. In February 2017, we had our Anglican Inspection ( SIAMS ) and were delighted to be judged as ‘Outstanding’. Please take the time to read both reports, they are only short but well worth the time!

I am incredibly proud to be Head teacher of All Saints’ CE school, to work alongside such a dedicated team of staff and governors, and have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our wonderful children.

Sarah Partington – Head Teacher
