'Love to Learn, Together with the Lord‘ .... 'Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.’ - Psalm 25:4

  1. Curriculum
  2. Worship

In our school, the daily Act of Collective Worship is an important part of the day, when the whole school comes together and shares in Worship through learning, music, reflection and prayer.  Worship is intended to be accessible for everyone, for the teachers and for the children alike.  Although our emphasis is on Christianity, we learn about, and from, other world religions too.  Collective Worship is also sometimes linked to our PSHE themes.

Father Mike and Father Jordan lead Worship in school every Thursday.  The children also take part in writing and leading special services such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter at All Saints’ Church for the other children, families and members of the wider school community.

Every Friday the Worship Group lead Whole School Worship.

The disciples who were chosen to spread the Good News.

“But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control.

There is no law against such things as these.”

Monday 16th April – Wednesday 18th April 2024

This week the children from each class participated in Prayer Week.  We had a lovely time exploring the different ways we can pray and also made beautiful bracelets.  A group of children from year 6 led the activities and were fantastic role models and ambassadors for our school.

Whole School Eucharist

Thursday 22nd February 2024

Today, we celebrated our first whole school Eucharist led by Father Jordan. ✟

We had a wonderful service!

The worship group helped Father Jordan with readings from the bible and writing the prayers.

Dear Lord

Thank you for our amazing world that we live in.

We need to care and love our world.

May we live in our world forever.

In the name of Jesus Christ.

Our Father

Thank you for Lancashire and the community we live in.

We thank you for our friends and family.

We are here today because of your sacrifice.

Dear God

Thank you for our teachers and our school.

Thank you for our friends.

Please bless our school.

Dear Almighty God

We are sorry for those who are sick and in need.

God will look over those in need.

He healed the blind and those who were paralysed.

We thank you Lord in dear sorrow for those people who are sick.

In the name of Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord

Thank you for those who have died for us in war.

We live in grief for those who have died by natural causes.

Please bring peace to all families and help them in their sadness and give them protection.

as God has forgiven you through Christ.”
