Homework

In order to help your child progress as much as possible in Year Two we expect them to complete homework each week.

Homework will include:

• Reading
• Phonics and Spelling
• Maths Number Facts, Counting or Times Tables
• A half term homework sheet where you can help your child complete 3 different activities.

Please work together with your child to complete 3 tasks from the selection on the sheet. The way you present the work is entirely up to you.

Maths

Number Facts
Your child should be practising number facts as often as possible and needs to be able to recall these instantly.
Please print off and get your child to complete the attached number fact sheet as often as possible.

Times Tables

Your child is currently working on either their 2, 5, 10 or 3 times tables.
They know which table they are working on and the facts they need to learn are sent home every week.
Please help them to learn these as often as possible.
