Staff and visitors on official school business ONLY

NO TAXIS / NO drop offs in carpark under any circumstances

In the past few months we have noticed an increased number of parents/ taxis using the drive and car park, which have led to the following concerns:

• Cars driving at speed on the drive whilst children and families are using the walkway.
• Children coming close to being knocked down as they run from parked cars into school.
• Access for emergency vehicles being blocked putting everybody in the building at risk
• Delivery vehicles being unable to gain access
• The car park becoming so congested and people being unable to move
• Several cars have been damaged without anyone admitting responsibility  

The school and Governors have taken the decision to stop use of the carpark under any circumstances unless you are staff or on official school business.

Please DO NOT use the car park to collect and drop off children for school, breakfast club or any afterschool clubs.  If you come to school via taxi, please ask the taxi to park safely outside of school grounds (Moor Road, Hodder Avenue) and walk your child to one of the entrances.  

Our priority is the safety of our children.
